Continuous project of film poster creation for personal recreation or, if there are interested parties, use in published publications. The posters were chosen according to personal interest, as well as the aesthetics used, since it is a project carried out without concrete ends.





It’s a mainly typographic poster, both in english and featuring the japanese original text. These type elements surround a graphic depiction of a vase, which is one of the most iconic elements in the film, and the object of the closing scene. Since it’s common for this kind of vase that its glaze tells a story, a still from the film was used to overlap it.

The poster features an illustration depicting two of the most emblematic objects in the film: a can of Del Monte sliced pineapples and a can of Porthos sardines. Both of these elements are crucial in creating a relation between the two narratives of the film, and were here used to represent those two different stories.

In a homage to 70s posters, especially those of Robert Altman, a collage featuring various images and elements from stills of the films was placed against a backdrop of color and funky graphic elements inspired by the same period.
